Prototyping at a rapid pace
3D printed prototyping is quite simply revolutionizing product design. The ability to turn your vision into reality in a matter of hours not only accelerates the manufacturing cycle, it also means that you have more time and opportunities to perfect design before production. Get your designs experienced the way they deserve, that’s the powerful advantage of Stratasys rapid prototyping.

Design iteratively
No matter what you design, you almost never achieve a flawless product right out of the gate. Rigorous testing, evaluation and refinement are the best means to assess what works and what doesn’t. Rapid prototyping with 3D printing provides the flexibility required to make this crucial trial and error process possible for physical products.

Reduce scrap and rework
In general, the later a problem is discovered, the more costly it will be to correct. Finding and fixing problems early in the design cycle is essential to preventing scrap, rework and retooling. Rapid prototyping with 3D printing allows industrial designers and engineers more revisions in less time, so they can test thoroughly while still reducing time to market.

Communicate ideas
Physical models convey ideas to collaborators, clients and marketers in ways computer models can’t. Rapid prototyping facilitates the clear, detailed feedback essential to product success, and lets designers quickly respond to input.

Test in the real world
Know exactly how your products will look and perform before investing in tooling. A wide range of 3D printing materials can produce tough functional prototypes for highly accurate performance testing, or realistic models that look and feel like your finished products. Photopolymers, thermoplastics, metals and composite materials provide a full spectrum of material properties, many of which withstand secondary processes like sealing, polishing, painting, metallization or electroplating.

Plus, if your final production process will require molds, patterns or layups, you can 3D print short-run tooling to prove out your products and manufacturing processes before making big investments.

Printer is a hardware function to print documents via computer connection. Printer is starting to be discovered since 1980. When it printer replaced a typewriter. First, printer can print black color only. Along with the development of computer technology, the printer now can be used to print full color documents, even the photos though.

The printer is currently available in various types and feature complete. For example: print color photographs with large sizes, prints fast (on a laser jet), perform the scanning, wireless, portable, and other features.

As an entrepreneur who opened a printing business, has a high-quality printer is indeed becoming a dream. Therefore, as a buyer you must be good at choosing a good and Durable printers.

So you can get a good printer, please read the following tips:

6 Tips on choosing a good and Durable Printers

#1. Buy the Printer according to your needs; Before you buy, you understand the point of the first purchase of the printer. If only to print regular documents in very small amounts, then the DeskJet with cartridge is the right choice. These types of printers are more durable and easy-care needs if only for regular usage. However, if you need printer with multifunction, then select the printer type laser with colored ink.

#2. Try to buy a new Printer; When you want to buy a printer, try to buy a new one. The printer is object sensitive which is easily damaged, especially if not cared for properly. It might get you experience when buying a used printer from sellers who haven't you know earlier.

Many advantages that can you get when you buy a new printer. For example: Warranty company, cash back, and so on. However, when the available budget is only enough to buy a used printer, the best solution is to check the condition in advance.

#3. Note the time of Warranty from the Manufacturer and Printer; You should be careful in looking at the printer for warranty given by the shop or factory. If the short warranty, we recommend you search the printer warranty long enough. A long warranty shows that the company printer that serious in giving the best service to our buyers and customers.

#4. Select the brand of Printer that is already trusted; The brand is also one of the indicators of the quality of the printer. Should you choose a printer with a trusted brand or have brand. The printer definitely tested quality.

#5. Check the condition of the Physical Printer; The physical condition of the printer is also obliged to note. Even if you bought the printer in new condition, but it is possible the printer is disabled and disrupted operations. So, in addition to checking the printer physically, nor should you try to make sure the printer is in good condition and can be operated...

#6. Pay attention to After Sales Service from a Distributor of Printer; As a buyer whiles the user of the printer, you should pay attention to after sales service from the distributor. Select the distributor after sales serving well. It is closely related to the warranty claim and process service printer in case of damage. When you select the printer with the after sales service is bad, then this will also make you feel uncomfortable, even loss.

That's some tips on choosing a good and durable printers. However, the printer will be durable and keep well if you take care of him properly.

You probably know that high-end industrial 3d printers can print metal objects by using laser or electron beams on fine metallic powder but Vader is something completely different. Vader aims at small companies or professional workshop environments by implementing proprietary MagnetoJet Printing (MJP) and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) ceramic printhead technologies to reduce the machine cost.

It uses molten metal and jets it in small droplets onto a surface similary to a standard inkjet paper printer and by connecting the metal droplets a 3d object can be made. It could be considered world’s first molten metal 3d printer!

Since one of the design ideas behind this machine is to make it widely available, the material it uses had to be widely available and cheap so the main material is molten aluminum wire.

While the basic technology sounds easy in theory and has been used even 20 years ago in the past for some applications, there are still many difficult technical obstacles to overcome. These obstacles include reaching complex requirements like developing a printhead that is resistant to abrasive properties of molten aluminum by using ceramics, magnetic containment and getting drop-on-demand molten metal droplets.

Vader is founded two years ago by Scott and Zachary Vader, a father-son team. With Fall of 2015 being the timeframe for the release of first working pre-production Mark 1 prototype.

The price range of the first machine should be around 250.000 USD which is much cheaper than currently available commercial metal 3d printers.

Hopefully the Vader team will be successful in bringing their machine to the market and start the race for affordable HOME metal 3d printers. I want one! And I know some of you want one too!

A crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller rocks, gravel, or rock dust.
Crushers may be used to reduce the size, or change the form, of waste materials so they can be more easily disposed of or recycled, or to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials (as in rock ore), so that pieces of different composition can be differentiated.

Crushing is the process of transferring a force amplified by mechanical advantage through a material made of molecules that bond together more strongly, and resist deformation more, than those in the material being crushed do. Crushing devices hold material between two parallel or tangent solid surfaces, and apply sufficient force to bring the surfaces together to generate enough energy within the material being crushed so that its molecules separate from (fracturing), or change alignment in relation to (deformation), each other. The earliest crushers were hand-held stones, where the weight of the stone provided a boost to muscle power, used against a stone anvil. Querns and mortars are types of these crushing devices.

Mining operations use crushers, commonly classified by the degree to which they fragment the starting material, with primary and secondary crushers handling coarse materials, and tertiary and quaternary crushers reducing ore particles to finer gradations. Each crusher is designed to work with a certain maximum size of raw material, and often delivers its output to a screening machine which sorts and directs the product for further processing. Typically, crushing stages are followed by milling stages if the materials need to be further reduced. Additionally rockbreakers are typically located next to a crusher to reduce oversize material too large for a crusher.

Crushers are used to reduce particle size enough so that the material can be processed into finer particles in a grinder. A typical processing line at a mine might consist of a crusher followed by a SAG mill followed by a ball mill. In this context, the SAG mill and ball mill are considered grinders rather than crushers.

In operation, the raw material (of various sizes) is usually delivered to the primary crusher's hopper by dump trucks, excavators or wheeled front-end loaders. A feeder device such as an apron feeder, conveyor or vibrating grid controls the rate at which this material enters the crusher, and often contains a preliminary screening device which allows smaller material to bypass the crusher itself, thus improving efficiency. Primary crushing reduces the large pieces to a size which can be handled by the downstream machinery.

Some crushers are mobile and can crush rocks as large as 60 inches. Primarily used in-pit at the mine face these units are able to move with the large infeed machines (mainly shovels) to increase the tonnage produced. In a mobile road operation, these crushed rocks are directly combined with concrete and asphalt which are then deposited on to a road surface. This removes the need for hauling over-sized material to a stationary crusher and then back to the road surface.
